Roderick Thayer, age 70, passed away on Thursday February 17, 2022 at Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 09, 1951 in Athol, Massachusetts to the late Frederick and Lorraine (Tatro) Thayer.
Preceded in death by his father Frederick Thayer, his mother Lorraine Thayer, his sister Linda Thayer, his brother Timothy Thayer and nephew Thomas Thayer.
He leaves his daughter Tracy (Thayer) Geilen, his sister in law Bonnie Thayer and nephew Nicholas Thayer.
To all that knew him, he was known as "Papa Smurf" and he will be missed.
