Robert “Bob” Oller, age 72, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at his home. He was born September 29, 1950, to the late Leonard and Julia (Knox) Oller in Delaware, Ohio.
For 20+ years, he worked at Flexible as a maintenance technician. After that he worked for the City of Delaware as a maintenance supervisor. After retirement, he couldn’t sit still so he went on to hold several more maintenance positions.
In his spare time, he loved the outdoors. His favorite spot was Lake Erie. He loved to fish, camp, and boating. He loved to walk the beach. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians fan. To him one man’s junk was his treasure; he loved yard sales, flea markets, and auctions.
He is survived by his fiancée Donna Columber, his daughters Carey (Mark) Joyner and Jody Horner, his sons Dustin (Stacey) Oller and Doug (Amy) Horner; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and 1 grandchild on the way and 1 great grandchild on the way. He is also survived by future brother and sister-in-law Harold and Kate Columber of Ansted, WV. He is also survived by his cousin Ronnie Dunham.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 162. Over the years he has been a member of the Eagles, Moose, VFW, and Amvets.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Julia, his paternal grandparents Calvin and Emma, and maternal grandparents Sibbie Nichols and Hiram Knox.
