Richard "Rick" Skinner II

Richard “Rick” Skinner II, age 75, passed away on February 25, 2023, at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio. He was born January 25, 1948, to the late Richard and Ruth Burton in Middletown, Ohio.

Rick and his wife Marilyn were married for 40 years.

He drove a semi for Anheuser Busch for 20 years. He also had a heating and cooling business in Marion.

He liked going fishing. He had a love of music, in the 70’s for a short time he played in the band Endless. He could always be found jamming to loud music. Rick had many friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. To his grandchildren he was affectionately known as Grand Poo.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dick and Ruth Skinner.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his sons Christopher (Tonya) Skinner and Mark Skinner, his brothers Gary (Janet) Skinner and Doug (Sandy) Skinner. He was Grand Poo to Casey Skinner, Lacey (Jamie) Skinner, Camrin Skinner, Christopher Skinner, Jr., Aaron (Kristen) Rowe, Kelly (Darius) Coburn, RJ Coburn, and Heather Dawson, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
