Patricia Burnett Jones Moore went home to her father on October 23, 2023, in Marion, Ohio at the age of 66 years young. She was born on July 20, 1957, to the late Carey and Lizzie Mae Jones in Vildo, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; maternal grandmother Lucy Douglass; maternal grandfather Shorty Tisdale; paternal grandmother Ann Jones, paternal grandfather Colon Jones; brothers Freddy Jones, Jerry Jones, Terry Jones, Thomas Jones; sister Sandra Jones.
Patricia is survived by her children Undrea (Aiyana) Jones, Quintessa Freeman (and her lucky future husband) and Terrance (Shelly) Jones; grandchildren Undrea Jones Jr., Terria Jones, Trextyn Harbolt, Michael Freeman Jr., Makaiya & Jauntae Freeman, Donald & Darius Gholston, Mohave Jones, Aviana Greene, Shealana Booker, Alecea & Kyron Rucks; great grandchildren King Jones, Thaxton Freeman, Reina Greenawalt; brothers Bill Jones, Bennie Jones; sisters Kara Jean Jones, Velma (Henry) Holmes, Inell Allen, Beverly Jones, Darlene (Eddie) Robinson, Jessica Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patricia had a heart of gold. She was always helping others which led to a host of many others calling her mom and Grandma. There wasn’t a soul around who she wouldn’t give a place to stay or a bite to eat. Hence why she enjoyed being a nurse in her years of employment. Family means EVERYTHING to her. You could usually catch Pat at bingo or in the game rooms collecting all the winnings as she was always lucky.
Patricia’s going home services will be on November 3, 2023, at 12:00 p. m. at Mt. Zion Church, 475 E. Fairground St., Marion, OH. The viewing will be at 10:00a.m.
