Mary Matilda Ream

Mary Matilda Ream, 85 years of age, passed away on Sunday November 03, 2019 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 17, 1934 in Ottoville, OH to the late Ralph Hoffman and Caroline (Wenzlick) Hoffman. She married James Ream on December 11, 1954. Mary did a lot of volunteer work, like baking pies for the Lykens Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser, aside of that she was also a 4H advisor. She was also raised as a farm girl and always loved driving the tractor.  Mary is survived by: two daughters; brothers Joseph (Jan) Hoffman, Thomas Hoffman, George (Sandra) Hoffman, Bill (Barb) Hoffman, Frank (Robin) Hoffman; sisters Elizabeth Hoffman, Teresa (Dale) Stapleton,  Ann Van Buskerk, Agnes (Dan) Murphy; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Ream who passed on November 01, 1997; brother Paul Hoffman; brother in law Dale Van Buskerk; sister in law Dorothy Hoffman.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Thursday November 14, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Marion with Rev. Thomas Buffer, presiding.
