Lony A Bostic

Lony A. Bostic, age 65, passed away on January 08, 2022, at Marion General Hospital. He was born on March 05,1956, in Marion, OH, to the late Paul Bostic and Mary Martha Van Meter.

He is survived by his wife Lou Ann Bostic, daughter Beth Bostic, grandchildren Mercedes Timmons, Desean Jackson, brother Bob Bostic, sister Connie Rollison and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Mary Bostic, two sons Bryant Jackson, Brent Jackson, brothers, Melvin Landis, Doug Landis, and Craig Van Meter, sisters Sharon Hart, Vicki Sponingburg.

Lony was a family man, family was everything to him. He always looked forward to holiday gatherings and was always planning ahead for the next cookout for family to come over. He overall just really loved planning anything to have the family come just be together for even a couple hours.

Lony was an active member of Marion  Moose. He enjoyed working outside and was always helping others. Lony had a love for his fur babies, and in his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 13, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302. Funeral service will be held the next day, Friday January 14, 2022, at 12:00 PM., burial to follow to Grand Prairie Cemetery.
