Hurley Hicks

Hurley (Butch) Hicks Jr. passed peacefully on 03/06/22.

He was born on 02/01/1946 in Whitesburg, KY to the late Hurley and Ardell (White) Hicks.

He is survived by son Kelly (Robin) Hicks, Son-in-law Robert Hall, 4 brothers, Floyd (Donna) Hicks, Cecil Hicks, David (Debbie) Hicks, Kevin (Lauralie) Hicks, One sister Sue (Marven/Popeye) Adams, 5 grandkids and 12 great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years Margaret (Paxton) Hicks, daughter Lori Hall and brother Kenny Hicks.

Hurley was a veteran of the United States army.

He earned his living as a truck driver, but was also masterfully skilled as an auto and motorcycle mechanic.

Hurley got great pleasure riding his Harley and tinkering in his garage.

Per his wishes no public service will be held, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
