Evelyn Lucille Willis

Evelyn Lucille Willis, 96, of Marion passed away Wednesday January 09, 2019 at Kingston Assisted Living. Born June 22, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Wally (Mary McFarlin) Curren. On Nov. 25, 1940 in Greenup, KY she married Clifford E. Willis who preceded her in death. Evelyn was a retired clerk at the Marion Board of Elections for 27 yrs. She was a member of the Richland Rd. Church of Christ where she was involved in the quilting ministry. She helped make over 600 quilts. She loved sewing, painting, crafting, music, movies, traveling, and camping with her family at Lake Erie. She is survived by two sons; Craig (Diane) Willis, Marion, Tim Willis, Columbus; Two grandchildren, Scott (Maggie) Willis of Kingman, AZ, Laura (Don) Rengert, Marion; and two great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be January 19, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Richland Rd Church of Christ in Marion, with Russell Howard officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Richland Rd Church of Christ Marion building fund. Arrangements entrusted to Edwards Funeral Service.
