Eddy Gene Jacobs

Eddy Gene Jacobs, age 75, passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2022 in Marion Ohio. He was born on March 22, 1947 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Lowell Jacobs and Audra Bordner.

Eddy is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Dewalt) Jacobs of 55 years, son Shane (Maria) Jacobs, grandchildren Keana (Troy) Dixon , Alexander Jacobs, Gabriel Jacobs, and Joshua Jacobs, two great grandsons Trevor Dixon and  Russell Dixon, sister: June (Robert) Hurst  and aunt Berdine Emerson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Eddy retired from J.P. Morgan Chase. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He also taught at Marion Technical College, teaching computers. Eddy loved fishing with his son, Shane, they were the best fishing buddies. He was a die hard fan of baseball, especially the Cleveland Indians. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, attending their activities and sporting events.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday November 25, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
