Cheryl Elaine Chevalier

Cheryl Elaine Chevalier, age 73, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on March 25, 2023, after an extended illness. Cheryl was born on March 13, 1950, to the late Charles and Mary Alspach. On October 11, 1968, she married the love of her life Douglas Chevalier.

Cheryl was a 1968 graduate of Marion Harding High School. She was a homemaker and she worked at Amerikid Day Care. She was very involved with her church, including women’s Missions and the church council. She loved to cook, bake, and most of all take care of other people.

Those who will cherish her memory the most include her husband Douglas Chevalier of Marion, her three daughters Tammy Chevalier, Jeannine Stapleton, and Kimberly (Todd) Hanshaw, all of Marion. Her siblings; sister Kathy Masters of North Carolina,  two brothers Craig Alspach and Steve Alspach  both of Marion, her grandchildren Brooke (Cory) Evans, Kyle Hanshaw (Chelsea Gorrell) , Mark Stapleton II and Trent Stapleton all of Marion. Her great grandchildren Payton Evans, Aylaya Hanshaw, and Dominic Evans.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Alspach, mother Mary Alspach, and half brother Terry Alspach.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 5PM - 7PM & Thursday 10AM - 11AM at Fairpark Community Baptist Church, 940 Bermuda Dr, Marion, OH 43302 where a service will be held at 11AM on Thursday. Private Burial at Grand Prairie Cemetery for Immediate family following service.
