Brenda Kay Lomax

Brenda Kay Lomax went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17th, 2022, at Marion General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on August 10th, 1964, to the late William Lomax and Sharon Lomax (Middleton). Proceeded in death by her brother Kenneth Lomax , her mother Sharon Lomax (Middleton) and her father William Lomax.

She is survived by her children, Raymond McDuffie of Marion, OH, Sharon (David) Backus of Marion, OH, William McDuffie of Marion, OH, Steven Lomax of Marion, OH, Donte Rosvanis of Marion, OH; her three sisters Joy (Harry) Davis of Columbus, OH, Alison Scott of Columbus, OH, Viola Tunstall of Bossier, LA; her grandchildren, Cavonte Lomax, David Backus Jr, Charlie Backus, Reniyah McDuffie, Reliyah McDuffie, Majesty McDuffie, Versace Backus, Aspen Backus, A’keyeria Stevens, Diamond Growney, and Kashmere Brown.

Brenda was a faithful member of Kings Temple Apostolic Church. She enjoyed working and helping in the church. Brenda was involved in her community of Marion. She was always putting together special events and awareness programs. Brenda loved to sing and was a member of the choir at Kings Temple Apostolic Church. She also sung in the community choir. Brenda loved working with the children’s choir, The Kingdom Kid’s, at Kings Temple Church. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and friends. She will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 24, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Kings Temple 267 Senate St, Marion, OH 43302. Service will be held Friday March 25, 2022, starting at 11:00 AM at Kings Temple with a burial to follow at Marion Cemetery.
