Wilma June Williamson (Albright), age 96, passed away peacefully on June 29,2026, in Marion, Ohio. Born on June 17, 1930, in Akron, Ohio, to Goldie and Andrew Foster Albright, Wilma lived a long and fulfilling life marked by her deep faith, love for her family, and dedication to her community.

Wilma spent her early career working at Corey Rubber Company and Fulfillment before dedicating herself fully to raising her family after the birth of her first child. Her unwavering devotion to her loved ones was evident in every aspect of her life She was a proud mother to Robert (Linda) Williamson, Dick (Lori) Williamson, and Sandra (Jerry) Allen. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Robert “Lee” (Emily) Williamson, Jesse Allen, Alyssa Allen, and Payton Williamson as well as eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Wilma was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Kim Williamson, her daughter Robin Colgrove, granddaughter Lori Sheets, her parents, and seven siblings.

A woman of profound faith, Wilma was an active member of Fite Memorial Baptist Church and a member of the diaconate board. She found joy in reading the Bible and attending Bible study sessions with fellow congregants. Her spirituality was a cornerstone of her life and provided strength and guidance throughout the years.

Wilma cherished time spent with family above all else. Whether caring for her grandchildren or enjoying visits with loved ones, she created countless memories that will be treasured forever. Summers at her sister’s cabin near McConnelsville, Ohio, were particularly special to Wilma. She also delighted in traveling and shopping in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, a favorite destination that brought her much happiness.

An avid gardener with a green thumb, Wilma found peace tending to her plants. She also enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes during football games and sharing this passion with those around her.

Wilma’s enduring love for her family and steadfast faith left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

May Wilma’s legacy of love and faith bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Edwards Funeral Service Hughes Allen Chapel, located at 318 Mt. Vernon Avenue Marion, Ohio 43302. Visitation will start at 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm with the service starting at 1:00 pm. Burial at Chapel Heights Memory Garden will follow after the service.
