William Raymound Burkhard

William R. Burkhard, age 85, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on January 28, 2023. He was born December 27, 1937, to Raymond and Helen Burkhard in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He attended Marion Harding High School.

He married Martha Pike on December 8, 1969, and they were married for 53 years.

He worked in the family business Ray’s Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years; he also worked at Tecumseh Motor Products and Marion County.

He enjoyed metal detecting to find hidden, lost treasures as well as talking to people on the CB radio. He was known as “The Marion Plumber.”

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Martha, and his son William.

He is survived by his son Ray (Lisa) of Nordland, WA and his daughter Teresa of Marion, OH, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
