Warren L Boggs

Warren L. Boggs, lovingly known as "Leroy," passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Marion, Ohio, at the age of 82. Born on January 22, 1943, in Richwood, Ohio, Warren’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and adventure. He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by his family and friends.

Warren dedicated many years to his career with Marion Power Shovel, where he became a respected and beloved figure. His talents as a mechanic were rivaled only by his passions – he was an avid fisherman and hunter who found joy in the great outdoors. A man of diverse interests, he was a proud owner of Harley motorcycles and had a keen eye for collecting guns. He lived for the thrill of stock car races, a pastime that brought him immense joy throughout his life.

At the core of Warren's existence was his remarkable family. He was blessed with a devoted wife, Gleda, with whom he shared 44 wonderful years of love and partnership. Together, they nurtured a close-knit family that includes his sons, Kevin Boggs, Richard (Danielle) Leonard, Chris (Jeannie) Boggs, Matthew (Chasity) Leonard, and Michael (Sarah) Leonard. Warren's daughters, Victoria (John) Shumaker, Lisa Robinson, and Kimberly Eden, along with numerous grandchildren, Jessica, Kaylyn, Brittany, Taylor, Halie, Chloe, Kourtney, Shawna, Richard Jr., Derek, Jacob, Hayden, Trenton, Colton, Jason, Brian, Dakota, DJ, Jarrett and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brought him indescribable joy and pride. His ability to light up any room was a testament to the enduring bonds he created with his loved ones.

Warren was also a dedicated brother, leaving behind siblings Ivan, Charlie, John, Jeffery, and sisters Kathryn, Betty, Louise, Barbara, Bonnie, and Beverly, each of whom fondly remembers the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives. His vibrant spirit and unwavering loyalty will forever remain in their hearts.

Warren was preceded in death by his son, Duane, and his brother, David Jr., Vernon, and son-in-law Daniel, all whom will be lovingly remembered as part of his eternal journey.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Warren's life on December 5, 2025, at EFS Hughes-Allen in Marion, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.

As we say goodbye to an extraordinary man who embraced life in all its forms, let's carry forward the spirit of Leroy – a man who loved deeply, cherished his family, and lived fully. He will be sorely missed and forever adored.
