Timmie Marshall, who was born on November 13, 1960, in Tiffin, Ohio, passed away on May 4, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. He lived a life of giving and possessed a huge heart, qualities that touched the lives of all who knew him. Timmie will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.

A man of many interests, Timmie found joy in building model cars, painting, and immersing himself in music. These passions were a reflection of his thoughtful and creative spirit—a spirit that remained vibrant throughout his life.

Timmie leaves behind a loving family that includes his son Hobart Gilbert and Hobart’s wife Christi, both of Marion. His legacy continues through three cherished grandchildren: Emily, Junior, and Kelsey Gilbert, all of Marion. Family was at the center of Timmie's world, as seen in the close bonds he shared with his brother Keith Marshall and Keith’s wife Charlotte, also of Marion; two sisters, Sharon Meade of Morral and Teresa Foulk of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces and nephews—Ashley, Amanda, Joanie, Courtney, Deetra, Troy, Corey, Geddy, Kyle, Brittany, April—as well as many great nieces and nephews. Among these family members is his great grandson Kiser, a reminder of the generations influenced by Timmie’s kindness and love.

His life was also enriched by two lifelong friends, Tim Bennett and Bruce Gamble, whom he considered brothers. Their friendship was a testament to the deep connections Timmie fostered throughout his life.

Timmie was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Johnnie and Opal (Conley) Marshall; two brothers, Jim and Mike Marshall; his nephew Travis; great niece Jolecia; and brother-in-law Kenny Foulk.

Though Timmie has passed from this world, the warmth of his heart, the creativity he expressed through his hobbies, and the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort his family and friends. In every thoughtful gesture and every moment spent remembering him, Timmie Marshall lives on, forever cherished and deeply missed.
