Steven Richard Schuster

Steven Richard Schuster, age 47, of Marion, Ohio, formerly of Texas, passed away unexpectantly surrounded by family and loved ones on July 17, 2025. Richard was born to Jill (Crossmon) Schuster on July 27, 1977.

Richard spent many years of his life in Texas with his friends turned family before returning to Marion to reconnect with his sister and nieces. After returning to Marion, Richard met a handful of close friends that he considered his family. Everyone who interacted with Richard loved his dearly. Ricard was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by those close to him.

Richard has an infectious laugh and smile that made everyone around him smile, he was devoted to his faith and loved the chance to joke around and make people laugh.

He is survived by his loving partner Amy Straw of Marion, nieces Tiara N. Azaria and Nariah M. Schuster of Marion, and loving friends turned family from both Texas and Marion.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother Jill (Crossmon) Schuster, sister Judy A. Schuster, and maternal grandparents.

The family has chosen to honor his wishes and proceed with a cremation, and to follow a private dinner to celebrate the life that he had and the person that he was.
