Stephen Earl Hogg

Stephen Earl Hogg, Jr. age 63, of Marion, OH passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

He was born June 29, 1960 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to the late Stephen and Janis (Cavanaugh) Hogg. He graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1978 and wrestled throughout his high school career.  From a young age, Steve played baseball under his father through Marion Baseball for Youth. In 1974, his father then became president of Marion Baseball for Youth. After serving 40 memorable years serving the community, he then passed the reins to his son. Like his father, Steve also coached his son and many youths in the Marion community.

He is survived by his mother, Janis Hogg, of Marion, Ohio; also surviving are his sister, Stephanie (Joe) Brady, of Upper Sandusky, OH; his children, Stephen (Skylar) Hogg, Nicholas (Mikaela) McMahan, and Krystal (John) Bowen; his nephews, Craig Rizer, Robert Morris, and Richard Holtz; and grandchildren, Asher Hogg and Faith Bowen. Steve is proceeded in death by his father, Stephen Hogg; sister, Kelly Holtz and nephew, Dylan Bourbonnais.
