September 24, 1964 to September 25, 2022

On Sunday, September 25, 2022, Sherry Lynn White, a beloved mother, sister, friend, passed away at
age fifty-eight. She had just celebrated her birthday the previous day.
Survived by son Joshua Eugene White and daughter in law Kelly Marie White. Siblings Bob (Sally) Cobb,
Shirl (Mike) Schmelzer, Jeff (Judy) Cobb, Rick Cobb, David (Robbie) Cobb, Sandy Smith, Sharon Butler,
and Roger Cobb. Numerous close cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Predeceased by husband Lowell Eugene White, daughter Brandy Lynn White, and parents Robert
Eugene Cobb Sr. and Annie (Hudson) Cobb.
Sherry married Lowell White August 17, 1988 and they celebrated 31 years together.
She was employed with Whirlpool Corporation in Marion, OH for 30+ years where she was planning to
work until retirement.
Sherry was best known for “telling it like it is” and being there for her loved ones, especially her nieces
and nephews. She was a fan of reading, going to concerts, and camping. Sherry loved dolphins, good
times with friends, and puzzles.
Visitation will be held Friday September 30, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Edwards Funeral Service
Hughes-Allen Chapel at 318 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Marion, Ohio 43302. Celebration of life will be held at a
later date.
