Shawn Richard Crissinger

Shawn Richard Crissinger (Animal), age 36, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 21, 2022. Shawn was born on Monday, December 16, 1985 to Kimberly and Tim Crissinger.

Shawn was such a big teddy bear! He had such a hard exterior, but once you cracked it, you'd learn how much he loved everyone. He loved life. He had a love for video games, the joker and star wars! He also loved big stuffed animals.

Shawn met his wife, Krystal, in 2005. They have a love story like no others. They married on October 28, 2011, and spent 16 years absolutely whole heartedly loving each other, as well as their two girls they have together, Nevaeh and Brionna, and his two daughters from a previous marriage Serenity and Seaira. Krystal and all four of these beautiful girls will miss him dearly.

Shawn is survived by his mother Kimberly (Ricky) Comeaux, his wife Krystal (Skittlez), four daughters, Nevaeh, Brionna, Serenity, and Seaira, his siblings Crystal, Mikey, Tisha, and Ashley, and best friend Marvin, as well as many more close best friends, the list would go on forever, his nephews/sons Zach, and Zane, and precious pets Elsa, Elvis and Bruno.

Preceded in death by his father Timothy Crissinger, and dad Mike Welch, step mom Marlene Crissinger and Mama Dee, Grandma and Grandpa Long, grandma Diane, best friends/brothers, David Sisson and Jacob Greenawalt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with a burial to follow at Chapel Heights.
