Sandra Sue Jordan, born on March 24, 1961, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Jordan, who stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing a life filled with joy and adventure. Their commitment to each other was the cornerstone of their wonderful blended family. Sandra took immense pride in her children: Robert Keith Jordan, Joe Mullins, Laurie (Josh) Belt, Karlee (Josh) Greenawalt, Lee Mullins, Lacey (David) Laughrey, Anthony (Delora) Mullins, and Abigale (Mason) Jordan. Each of them carries forward her nurturing spirit and the values she instilled in them. She also took great delight in her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who added boundless light to her life.
Sandra's personality shone brightly in everything she did. An avid fisherman, she loved spending time outdoors and often out-fished Bob, making each fishing trip a delightful challenge. Her love for camping brought her closer to nature and the family, creating countless cherished memories around the campfire. Sandra's passion for her rose garden reflected her nurturing nature; her blooms were a testament to her care and dedication.
A fabulous cook, Sandra was particularly known for her exquisite fudge, which she mastered with love and precision. Her kitchen was a haven where she created not only delicious meals but also warmth and comfort for her family. She was also an expert quilt maker, carefully stitching pieces together that told stories of family connections and love.
Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Patricia Shonk, Crystal Jordan, and her grandparents, Harry and Evelyn Shonk, whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Visitation will be held at the Edwards Funeral Service, Hughes-Allen Chapel in Marion, Ohio, on November 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The family invites all who knew Sandra to come and celebrate her remarkable life, reflect on the joy she brought into the world, and honor the memories shared.
As the sun sets on a life well-lived, Sandra's legacy will continue to shine through her family and friends, and the love she so freely gave will forever warm their hearts.
