Ruth Maxine Koontz

Ruth Maxine Koontz, age 89, of Marion passed away Tuesday afternoon at Marion General Hospital. Ruth was born in Marion on February 2, 1926 to Earl and Nellie (Price) Beck. She had worked as an auditor for Montgomery Ward Stores for many years. Surviving are her son; William (Connie) Koontz, 3 daughters; Sherry Dillinger, Pamela Koontz and Eula (Michael) Holback, 6 grandchildren; Shannon (Jerry) Smith, Ron (BJ) Sisson, Jennifer Opuni, Tom (Kimberly) Holback, Jodie (Jeff) Madrid and Billy Koontz, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In keeping with Ruth's wishes, she has been cremated and private burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
