Ronald Eugene Schultz

Ronald Eugene Schultz, 89, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on August 29th, 2023.

He was born on July 14, 1934, to Keith and Mildred Schultz in Logan, Ohio. He graduated from Logan High School and went on to join the United States Marine Corps. Ron worked as a police officer before retiring as Assistant Chief Firefighter in Westerville, Ohio.

He married Marlene Enderle on September 16, 1956. They traveled together to Europe, Canada, and all over the United States as best friends. Together they saw the country from the back of a camper and enjoyed almost 67 years of marriage.

Ron was an avid woodworker and tinkerer and loved to help other people. He was the neighborhood snow plower for thirty years, but was best known in the neighborhood for having his train that ran around the property.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Mildred Schultz and brother Keith Schultz, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; twin brother Don; sister Marlene; children David (Sybil), Tom (Laura), and Sue Bell (Matt); grandchildren Tommy, Elizabeth, James, and Michael; and great grandchildren Tristan, Oliver, Chloe, and Bella.
