her love for her family was a defining part of her life

Dolly Lynn Craig, born November 3, 1959, in Kenton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2026. She will be remembered with love for the warmth she brought to her family and for the simple joys that brightened her days.

Dolly loved being a homemaker, and she poured that love into the people closest to her. She found happiness in shopping for purses and candles, and especially in spending time with her family. One of her favorite places to visit was Bath and Body Works, and she also loved playing bingo. These everyday pleasures reflected her lively spirit and the comfort she found in the people and moments she cherished most.

She leaves behind a family who will carry her memory forward with deep affection: her daughter, Amy (Edward) Haller; her son, Stephen R. Vance, Jr.; her fiancé, Donald Snyder; her mother, Doris Bowman; her sister, Beverly Tanner and Beverly’s husband, John; her brother, Timothy Bennett; sister in laws Linda Bennett and Wendy Bennett; and her beloved grandchildren, Ashlin Price, Hanna Price, Kennady Price, and Anthony Haller. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Each of them shared a special place in Dolly’s heart, and her love for her family was a defining part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her stepfathers, Fred Bennett and George Bowman; her brother, Michael Bennett; and her sister, Laurie Zelinka. Their memories remained part of her life and now are held together with hers in the hearts of those who loved them all.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 1560 Marion-Marysville Road, Marion, Ohio 43302. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Marion Cemetery, 620 Delaware Avenue, Marion, Ohio 43302.

Dolly will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for her faith, her devotion to home and family, and the happiness she found in life’s familiar and treasured moments.
