Marilyn Joyce Bonsel

Marilyn Joyce Bonsel 94, of Marion, Ohio passed away on February 14, 2024, peacefully at Marion General Hospital. She was born on February 1, 1930, to Helen Louise Rollison (Hart) and Cedric Rollison in Marion, Ohio.

Marilyn worked at Tecumseh for 17 years as a line worker. She also worked at Marion City Schools for 29 years as a custodian, where she then retired at the age of 89. Marilyn had a love for writing poetry, enjoyed watching nature, and spent her Sundays at Church. She also loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents (Helen & Cedric), her 7 siblings, and along with her son James M. Bonsel. She is survived by her 6 children: Jeff Rollison, Robert Bonsel, Ronald Bonsel, Brenda Johnston, Scott Pickens, Christopher Bonsel and along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
