Lorenzo Eugene “Stanky” Green -

Lorenzo E. Green, age 44 of Marion, Ohio departed this life and was reunited with his mother on Saturday,  July 30, 2022.

He was born on October 1, 1977 in Marion, Ohio the  son of the late Rosa Lee Green-Jones, and Demetri  Naomi Hence.

Lorenzo attended Marion Harding High School and was a member of Mayes Community Temple COGIC. He was former employee of Whirlpool Corporation and  Graphic Packing and was a former Resident House

Monitor for the Arnita Pittman Recovery Center. Lorenzo loved watching sports,  especially football and his favorite team was the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed  spending time with his children.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory four children, N’Corya and Ziair Green of  Marion, Ohio; Maliaka Pickens and Taucorria Green of Columbus, Ohio; One Sister;  Shelly (Christopher) Jackson of Magnolia, Delaware; One Brother; Michael (Louis)  Andrade of El Paso, Texas: Two Aunts; Devesta Petty and Thelma Green, both of  Marion, Ohio: Two Uncles; Clinton Green of Marion, Ohio and Timothy Jones of  Maryland, Washington: and Grand-Daughter; Annarose Ross of Marion, Ohio and  host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Lorenzo was preceded in death by a brother, Jonny Otis Brown-Green Jr. His grandparents Mae (Leroy) Ward, Lee Payne and Sherman Jones. Two Uncles; Sherman Jones and James Mason: one aunt; Shirley Green Baker.

A service of remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022  at Mayes Community Temple C.O.G.I.C. at 801 Bennett Street Marion, OH 43302.
