Linda Turner, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on September 11, 2026, in Marion at the age of 63. She was born on July 13, 1963, in Huntington, West Virginia.

Linda was a graduate of Marion Harding High School. During her time there, she also attended Tri Rivers Career Center, where she studied horticulture and earned certifications alongside her high school diploma. That training reflected a gift she carried throughout her life and a love for beauty she shared generously with the world around her.

She took great pride in her work. While living in Florida, Linda worked at Sarasota Airport, tending to the flower beds there. After moving to Ohio, she continued doing what she loved as a landscaper, making flower beds beautiful wherever she worked. Her care for growing things was not simply a job, but a true expression of who she was.

Linda especially loved gardening and took great joy in her own flower beds. She could often be found outside bright and early, carefully tending her garden and making sure she had the prettiest yard on the block. She also loved riding motorcycles with her partner, Jeffery, and those rides were among the many simple and happy moments that brought her joy.

She is survived by her sister, Glenda Mercer; her brother, Lee; and her significant other, Jeffery Jones. May they find comfort in the memories they shared with Linda and in the lasting beauty she brought into their lives.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Casey Hall; her brother, Wayne; her brother-in-law, Charles Mercer; and her nephew, Jimmie. Their memories remained part of Linda’s life and story, and they are remembered with her now.

Visitation will be held on September 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Service, Hughes-Allen Chapel, 318 Mount Vernon Avenue, Marion, Ohio 43302. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will take place on September 18, 2026, at Agosta Cemetery, Superior Street, New Bloomington, Ohio 43341.

Linda will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, her love of flowers and beautiful spaces, and the warmth she brought to everyday life. Her memory will live on in every carefully tended garden and every bloom that brightens the day.
