Jimmie Ray Hicks

Jimmie Ray Hicks, age 58 of Marion, passed away on October 6th at 2:14 AM from natural causes. Jimmie was born in Marion on July 24, 1956 and was the son of Maxie Wicker and the late Joe Hicks. He received his GED from Marion City Schools. Jimmie is survived by his two sons; Jimmie Joe Hicks of Ft. Hood, Texas and Gary Lee Hicks of Marion. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; Jimmie Joe Hicks II, Abigail Rose Hicks, Anthony Hicks, Lorlei Hicks, Adam Arriaga, Kadin Hicks and Dakota Claypool and his 3 brothers; Troy "Mack" Hicks, Bobby Hicks and Wayne Hicks. Jimmie loved fishing and was a frequent fisherman at the Marion Quarry.
A memorial service will be held in Jimmie's honor at the Good Faith Baptist Church in Marion on the corner of Mark Street and Jefferson Street. All family and friends that can attend are more than welcome.
