Jimmie Gray passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 10, 1954, Jimmie was a cherished presence throughout his life, remembered fondly by family and friends for his character and enduring spirit.

He is survived by his beloved children and stepchildren: his sons, Shawn Stacy, and Jeremy Rivers and his step-son and step-daughters, Danny Canterburry, Rebecca Canterburry, and Kelly Daso (Eric). Jimmie’s legacy is carried forward in the lives and memories of those who knew and loved him, and his impact as a father and stepfather is deeply appreciated by all who were close to him.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his father Maurice Gray and mother Sarah Gray, both of whom were central influences in his life. He is also reunited with his forever friend and companion, Janet Pearson-Fleming, whose friendship and presence he valued. He leaves behind a host of niece's nephews and grandchildren. also extended family friends Bob Davis and Tracy Cunningham

His journey through life was marked by commitment to his family and care for those around him. The recollections shared by those who survive him speak to a lifetime of kindness, hard work, and quiet strength. He also enjoyed his Harley Davidsons, and muscles cars and greenery.

A graveside service honoring Jimmie’s memory will be held at Grand Prairie Cemetery, located at 4964 Brush Ridge Drive North, Marion, OH 43302. The service is scheduled for July 31, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. and concluding at 3:30 p.m. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Jimmie are invited to gather and pay their respects.

While his presence will be greatly missed, the love and lessons he shared endure, leaving a legacy of compassion and resilience. Jimmie Gray’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
