James Edwin Young

James E. Young left his earthly body on October 12, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Marion, Ohio on October 17, 1953 to the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Inskeep) Young. James, better known to all of us as “Jimmy”, was a man of may trades. He could work on any vehicle, replace a furnace or fix any appliance but his real passion was to go deer hunting every year making it a family event. Jimmy is survived by his two sisters; Janet Jackson of Chesterville and Joyce Adamson of Marion, his nephew; Michael Gilbert (fiancé Sara) of Marion and a host of nieces and nephews. Jimmy’s family would like to thank a very special friend and caregiver from beginning to end; Ms. Sara Woodring, Hospice of Marion and Brenda Foos. Jimmy was preceded in death by two brothers; John Gilbert and Harold “Gene” Gilbert. His family is planning a graveside service for Jimmy at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Details will be announced at a later date.
