Edward Nicholas Correa age 87, passed away Sunday September 23, 2018. Ed was born on December 7, 1930 in Union City, NJ., to the late Manuele and Julia Correa. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Theresa (Arcuri) Correa. Ed was a graduate of Emerson High School in Union City N.J., after high school Ed was drafted and served two years during the Korean War. After his service was up Ed returned to NJ where he began his more than 50 years construction career. He met and married his loving wife Theresa on December 3, 1955. Always the practical joker Ed would answer his clients questions and concerns with "its easy" and in his later years that turned into "whatever". Ed was always good at putting a smile on your face and getting you to laugh from your belly. Ed and Theresa had 4 children, Julie (Donald) Mathis, Edward (Nichole) Correa, John (Kay) Correa, Michael (the late Dianne) Correa, that gave him 10 grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian Mathis, Ashley, Edward, Jessica, Bailey, and Peyton Correa, Michael II, Connor and Nicholas Correa, which produced 9 great-grandchildren. Ed is preceded in death by his father Manuele Correa, mother Julia (Bocchialini) Correa, 2 sisters, Amelia Correa Capone and Catherine Correa, and 1 unnamed nephew that passed at child birth. Public Visitation will be held Wednesday September 26, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave, Marion, OH 43302 with a service to follow at 12:00 P.M with Father Thomas Buffer officiating. Burial to follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
