Destin T. Throckmorton, 22, of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully into God’s loving arms on March 26, 2018, at home surrounded by family.
Destin is survived by his devoted mother Kimberly Throckmorton; stepfather David Felder, grandmother Becky Adams, the mother of his child Alle Reed, and daughter Ameira Throckmorton.
He is also survived by eight sisters: Breanna Brown, Aiyanna Brown, NyKya’ Brown, Neavah Felder, Karisma Brown, J’Naeya Mae Brown, Cashmere Brown, and Zy’Daeshanae Brown; and two brothers: Doral Dagher and Isaya Felder. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also mourn his loss.
He was preceded in death by his father Eli Brown, Jr. and grandparents Ollie May Brown, Eli Rankin, and Michael Adams.
How fitting that Destin was born on Sweetest Day, October 21, 1995. Although he was a “tell it like it is” kind of guy, he had a huge heart. Honest to a fault, he was loved for his kind and generous nature. Destin could light up a room with his infectious smile. He persevered through whatever life put in his path.
Destin had a passion for music and was talented in writing and performing his own rap songs. The light of his life was his beautiful daughter Ameira, who he referred to as “Daddy Baby.”
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Missionary Baptist Church, 394 Fairview Street, Marion, Ohio.
A special thank you to Dr. Gibson and Nurse Brian, for your wonderful care and compassion. And thank you to Christ Missionary Baptist Church for making Destin’s memorial service possible.
We love you, Destin, and celebrate your short but impactful life. We await the day we will see you again.
