David's journey began in Cleveland, where he was born and raised, forging strong values that would serve as the cornerstone of his adult life. He approached every endeavor--be it personal or professional---with a quiet determination and thoughtful care, earning respect and admiration of those around him.

David was a deeply devoted husband to his loving wife, Geraldine Wick, who survives him. Their partnership exemplified loyalty and mutual support, enduring through many seasons of life. David's pride and joy was his family, and he delighted in watching it grow over the years. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Sadie Nicole (Zachery) Grubbs, Nathan Sayer (Alanna) Wick, Barbara (Jeff) Manning, Anthony Gansheimer, and Amber Henault. Each of them carries forward his legacy of integrity, warmth, and resilience.

David was also blessed to see his family expand to include grandchildren and even a great-grandchild. He leaves behind grandchildren Lynzy Manning, Aidden Manning, Carson Manning, Leighton Gansheimer, Addison Manning, Adalaide Gansheimer, Maverick Gansheimer, and Jaxon Gansheimer. Their laughter and happiness brought David immense joy. His great-grandchild, Rylyn Hunter, was a bright light in his life, and David took great pride in the new generation his family was fortunate to welcome.
