Constance Laura Criswell

Constance "Connie" Laura (Finnegan) Criswell, of New Bloomington, passed away on July 27, 2022. She was born on January 05, 1936, in Marion, OH to the late Marie (Schuler) and Luke Finnegan.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tom Criswell; 3 sisters, 4 brothers; son-in-law Steve Fishpaw.

She is survived by children; Melinda Fishpaw, Kevin Criswell, Maureen (Randy) Patrick, Bryan Criswell, grandchildren; Janet (Phil) Smith, Jimmy Skaggs, Kevin (Amy) Jr., Kyle (Brianne), and Katie Criswell, Brad (Ashley) and Greg Benedict, Dean (Kasia), Darren (Stacie), and Dana Patrick, 16 great grandchildren, longtime friends; Jim Skaggs and Tina Handley.

Connie retired from Marion General Hospital after 35 years as the supervisor of medical records. She graduated from St. Mary and attended Kent State University. She attended St. Mary Church throughout her life. Connie and her husband Tom owned and raced harness horses. Connie also loved playing bingo and going to casinos.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 02, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Service 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH 43302 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday August 03, 2022 at St. Mary Church 251 N. Main St., Marion, OH 43302 starting at 10:30 AM.
