Betty Jane Leib

Betty Jane Leib, age 97, of Marion passed away Sunday morning at Kingston Residence. Born in Marion on September 10, 1917 to Thomas and Frances (Stalter) Leib, she was a graduate of Harding High School (1936) and also the Marion Business College. Betty was a faithful member of Central Christian Church, a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and the ElDorado Club. She was active for many years with the annual presentation of the Messiah, had retired in 1991 as a medical assistant with various Marion physicians and enjoyed traveling abroad with her friends. She was preceded in death by her brother; Robert W. Leib and her sister; Dora J. Hudson. Surviving are her nephew; Tom (Dorothy) Leib, great niece; Emily (Aaron) Lane of Blacklick, great nephew; Randy (Angie) Leib of Waldo, 2 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Christian Church or Marion General Hospital Hospice.
