Bart Dennin Brown

Bart Brown, age 39, passed away from medical complications on January 24, 2026. He is leaving behind a legacy of laughter and love.

Bart, the beloved son of Kevin Brown and Shirley Smith, was a devoted father of his two children, Jon and Joe.

He was a proud graduate of Elgin High School and spent his days working in landscaping, a job he truly enjoyed. In his free time, he could be found 4 wheeling, spending time with family and friends, drawing and tattooing.

Bart will forever be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those around him.

Bart is survived by his sons Jon and Joe Brown of Marion, grandmothers Sandy Smith of Marion and Dorothy Brown of Bellefontaine, his brother Michael (Kelly) Brown of Marion, sister Tiffanie (Daniel) Norton of Marion, His nieces and nephews Nathaniel Tackett, Cameron Parish, Kadance Brown, Kylie “Poot Poot” Brown, Blake Tackett, Kevin Brown III, and McKinna Tackett. And many aunts and uncles.

Rest in peace, Bart. You may be gone but your sense of humor will live on in the hearts of all that knew you.
