Barbara Ann Helbert

Barbara (Brooks) Helbert, age 87, passed away on June 09, 2022, at home in New Bloomington, OH surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 28, 1934, in Cleveland, OH to the late Curtis and Doris (Hutchinson) Brooks.

She graduated from Scott High School in Toledo, OH. After high school she lived in Monroe, MI, Marion, OH and New Bloomington, OH

Barbara is survived by her children; Cynthia (Emery) Hankenhof, Deborah (Emery) Thompson, Loren "Lee or Bud" (Cindy) Emery, Kimberly (Emery) (Daniel) Straub, Karen (Emery) Boris; son-in-law Terry Boggs, grandchildren;  Melissa (Boggs) (Jeff) Leon,  Melody (Boggs) (Joel) Smith, Shawn  (Stephanie) Thompson, Candice (Thompson) (Mike) Collins, Kevin Thompson, Rachel Emery, Kyle Emery, Leslie Straub, Jason (Teisha) Straub, Robbie Woods, Cyndi (Woods) (Jon) Schweitzer and Steven Woods, 24 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Doris Brooks, husband Howard Helbert and daughter Sue (Emery) Boggs.

A  memorial will be held in Coeburn, VA at a later date.
