Bryan William Criswell

Bryan William Criswell, 63, of Marion, OH, passed away at home on November 12, 2023.

He was born on July 23, 1960 to Tom and Connie Criswell. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1978.

Bryan was a self-employed farmer and a self-employed contractor, and he also distributed bulk mail for the United States Post Office. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Brown fan who enjoyed playing poker and meeting his friends for lunch. Bryan was the voice of reason and well-loved by his family. Truly the foundation of our family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Steve Fishpaw.

He is survived by life partner Tina Handley; brother Kevin Criswell; sisters Melinda Fishpaw and Maureen (Randy) Patrick; nieces and nephews Janet Smith, Jimmy Skaggs, Brad (Ashley) and Greg Benedict; Kevin Jr. (Amy), Kyle (Brianne), and Katie Criswell; Dean (Kasia), Darren (Stacie), and Dana Patrick; and friends Jim Skaggs, Janet Sharp, Tracy Fown, and Nina Fown.

Calling hours will be at the Edwards Funeral Service Hughes Allen Chapel on November 21, 2023 from 3PM - 7PM, and November 22, 2023 from 9AM to 10AM, followed by a service at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11AM, concluding with a burial at Marion Cemetery.
